History & philosophy
On 1th January 1969 the company „Bernhard König Porzellan” was established by Bernhard König based on his childhood ambitions. At the beginning only three members (his wife, Mrs Hilde König and his children Renate and Gerd) were employed there.
Location Thiersheim
The headquarter is placed in a small bavarian town called “Thiersheim”, where the company is one of the biggest employers.
Location Sokolov (CZ)
Gerd König in the position of a managing partner decided to expand the working range of porcelain and glass pattern. Therefor another location was opened on the 16th January 1996 in Sokolov, Czech Republic.
